Terms of Service

What GritSites does

GritSites builds professional websites for local businesses, starting with towing companies and auto shops: custom design, mobile-first layout, business-focused copy, contact forms, and domain setup, plus an optional monthly care plan after launch. A basic review of your Google Business Profile is included, with straightforward improvement recommendations.

Pricing and payment

The website build is a flat $597 CAD, one time. We build the website first, you review it, we make the agreed revisions, and you pay only after approving the design. There are no setup fees on top and no hidden line items.

What the $597 includes

• A custom website built for your business, on your own domain.
• Mobile-first design and tap-to-call functionality.
• Website copy drafted for you and revised with your feedback.
• Domain connection, or the first year of a suitable standard domain if you need one. Premium domains are not automatically included.
• Revisions before approval, and launch setup.
• Full ownership: the website and domain are yours.

Website Care, the optional monthly plan

After launch, manage the website yourself or have GritSites continue hosting, maintaining, and updating it for $67 CAD per month. Website Care includes hosting, technical maintenance, security and software updates, domain-renewal management, and reasonable copy, photo, and business-information changes, with direct email or text support. It covers ongoing updates, not redesigns or entirely new functionality. There is no long-term contract: cancel anytime and keep everything, with a reasonable transition or transfer process.

Ownership, domains, and renewals

You own the approved website after payment, and you own or control your domain. While Website Care is active, GritSites manages the hosting, technical infrastructure, and domain renewals on your behalf. If Website Care is declined or cancelled, we provide a reasonable transfer process, and future hosting and domain-renewal responsibility passes to you after any included first year.

Revisions and scope

Agreed revisions before approval are included in the $597. Material scope expansion or entirely new functionality beyond the agreed website may be priced separately, and we will always tell you before anything costs more.

What is not included

Unless we agree to it separately, the service does not include:

• Ads management or SEO campaigns.
• Ongoing Google Business Profile management.
• Custom software or web apps beyond the website.
• Unlimited redesigns.
• Ongoing marketing strategy.

No guarantees on results

We build you a strong, professional website, but we cannot guarantee search rankings, leads, calls, sales, or revenue. Results depend on many things outside our control.

Your materials

You confirm you have the rights to any logos, photos, text, or other materials you send us to use on your website.

Third-party tools

We use trusted third-party providers to build, host, and run your website and our service. Google Business Profile changes are made through Google's own tools and are subject to Google's review and policies.
